Dr. Ramesh has done his bachelors degree in Veterinary Sciences from APU, Hyderabad, awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Dairy Technology from Annmalai University, Chidambaram, Tamilnadu and working as Deputy Director (Animal Husbandry) at Veterinary Polyclinic, Seetharampet, Hyderabad. Also, attended several trainings on Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Livestock Management at Dr.M.C.HRD, IIM Ahmadabad, NARM and IRMA. He had worked as Veterinary Assistant surgeon (Animal Husbandry Department), Khamam District, Assistant Director (AH) (Animal Husbandry Department), Nalgonda District and as Manager (Procurement & Inputs) (A.P. Dairy Development), Hyderabad. In 2002, he has constructed Vetrinary Hopital, Tallam Padu, Khammam District at an outlay of Rs. 15 lakhs of which Philanthropists have contributed about Rs. 8.00 lakhs. Implemented poverty alleviation programmes, participated actively in several weaker sections uplifting programmes hosted by Government of Andhra Pradesh & Government of India on Animal Husbandry and Dairying. Successfully, implemented Dairy Development projects at an outlay Rs. 50 Cr. under Rajiv Krishi Vikas Yojana He has involved in capacity building of filed staff of Animal Husbandry Department, BAIF, Heritage Dairy, VASSAN, (NGO). Extended training to Mandal Mahila Samakyas (SHGs) on Dairying technology. Also, was Convener for Vijaya Training Centre, APDDCF, Hyderabad and instrumental in commencing Dairy Technology under IGNOU.
He is also popularly known as veterinary journalist and about 2000 articles are published in all the leading Telugu agricultural magazines. Also, more than 300 programmes were telecasted in TV and All India Radio on topics of Animal Husbandry, Dairy and Livestock Management. Phone-In-Live TV- Shows were given on Dairying on behalf of Coramandal /IFFCO firms and extending consultancy service to entrepreneurs on Dairy/Sheep farming. He has written several books on Dairy farming, Sheep farming, EMU farming and Pet dog management in Telugu, which received overwhelming response for his publications all over Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Ramesh has translated IGNOU course material in Dairy Technology in Telugu language.
He has received prestigious awards from Hon’ble Minister, Animal Husbandry on the eve of World’s Veterinary day for his excellent work in the field of veterinary and received "C.K. Rao Endowment Trust award" for the best field Veterinarian. Also, felicitated by Vishakha Veterinary Association on "World Veterinary day" and received appreciation from District Collector, Nalgonda on the occasion of "Republic day".
